On a Friday my check engine light came on. Box K diagnosed it and repaired it within a couple hours. I am very grateful for the quick and thorough service. They even washed my car.

Came in from out of town Sunday evening belt broke, called Box K mid morning Monday morning for price and how soon could get done. Was told to get it there and they would have it fixed by end of day. Also had car washed and vacuum out as part of job. Would recommend to anyone for car work on peninsula. Very happy customer.

We were taken care of from fixing our truck to billing our warrenty provider. Bob and Millie were so kind and helpful. We would highly recommend Box K.

Alternator failed while staying in Long Beach. Drove to Box K and they whipped up a quote and had it scheduled and completed early the following day. Provided ride for us to and from the Hotel. I can’t remember receiving better service.

Hearing a strange noise from your vehicle while on a road trip is never a good feeling! We are so glad we called Box K. They drove us back to our Airbnb while they diagnosed and fixed our car, and got it done really quickly and for a very reasonable rate…and came to pick us up when it was completed. Friendly, quick and easy. Thanks for the help this week!

I have never been disappointed with Box K. The entire staff is courteous and professional, and they know what they're doing. From Roberto their driver, to whoever performs the courtesy wash and clean of the vehicle, to the trained specialists. This is the place to bring your vehicle! Thank you for your years of excellent service!

We recently drove to Long Beach from Lacey for vacation with our daughter, two grand children and our two dogs in our mini-van. About half way into our journey, we heard a clanking noise like something metal had fallen out from the chassis. After that, we could hear a grinding metal-on-metal sound every time I braked. We limped into Seaview and luckily stopped at Box K. They were very nice and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was that the brake caliper bolts on the left front brake had fallen out! ( I had taken my car into be serviced the week before, and apparently the technician did not tighten the bolts back correctly when checking the brake pads). Box K quickly provided a loaner station wagon, which they helped to load. When everything out of the mini-van would not fit in the loaner, Millie graciously loaded the kids and my daughter in her car and followed us to the house. They quickly repaired our car the next day at a very reasonable price. Needless to say, they made our vacation a very happy one! Thanks, Box K!

While camping, our 4Runner begin to run rough and displayed a check engine light. The Park ranger told us to go to Box K in Seaview. Her lack of hesitation was an indicator that Box K was an outstanding shop. They were able to work us in immediately. They diagnosed the problem and had us up and running within a few hours. They had their shuttle driver give us a ride back to the campground and he later returned to pick us up. On top of that, they had washed and vacuumed our vehicle. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the mechanics fixed the problem right away. They turned a visitor's "nightmare" into a great experience, even recommending places to visit and eat.

I know most of us who live on the peninsula, we have our favorite mechanic that we like to do business with. I would like to tell you about mine. We have been going to Box K in Long Beach ever since we moved down to the beach full time (2007). The owner, Milly and coworker John, and mechanics do an excellent job of keeping our cars running. Our current problem is a headlight problem on my Acura RDX. The low beam lights after about 100,000 miles become very dim, in fact so dim that it is dangerous to drive at night. After some research we found that this is a known problem with Acura RDX on 2013-2015 models, but sadly, no recall. It is also an expensive fix costing roughly $2k. Speaking with Milly yesterday, she did some additional research and confirmed what we had read. What she did next though was brain storm with us on how to get the cost of this repair down, by giving us alternate solutions for headlights and sourcing parts. We also discussed the pros and cons of keeping a 2013 vehicle versus a new one taking in account what service has been done and what might be coming up. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate their professionalism and knowledge, the cleanliness of their work environment, the willingness to go the extra mile for their customers and the fact that they give us heads up on repairs that should be done in the next year or so we can plan accordingly. If you are looking for a new mechanic, give them a try. I'm sure glad we did. Thanks Box K.
